How it works
Small asks. Big community.
HelpTo is a simple board for neighbors. Ask for help, or offer it — volunteer or paid, your call.

The four steps
Post a task
Describe what you need in a minute — add an address if it helps. Choose whether it's volunteer or paid, and set the amount.
A neighbor claims it
Someone nearby offers to help. You'll see their name and how to reach them.
Coordinate directly
Text or call to lock in the details. HelpTo doesn't handle chat or payments — that's between you two.
Meet & wrap up
Get it done, then mark the task complete. Cash, transfer, or a heartfelt thank-you.
Volunteer vs paid
Free help — a kind favor from a neighbor. Great for small asks or when you need a hand and can't pay.
You set the amount when posting. Payment happens directly between you and the helper — cash or transfer.
Real-world examples
Ride to a doctor's appointment
An older neighbor needs a lift across town on Thursday morning. A retiree with a free afternoon claims it — no charge, just kindness.
Pick up a package from the post office
You can't make it before closing. A neighbor swings by on their way home and drops it at your door for $15.
Help moving a couch upstairs
Two flights, thirty minutes, an extra pair of hands. Someone nearby with a strong back claims it for $40.
Grocery run for a sick neighbor
Someone recovering from the flu posts a short shopping list. A neighbor already headed to the store picks it up — no cost.
Stay safe
- Meet in a public, well-lit place when possible.
- Share trip details with a friend or family member.
- Confirm names & vehicle before getting in or handing things over.
